Summary/Abstract: The article presents how Gospodarska sloga, the economic organization of the Croatian Peasant Party at the beginning of its organized acitivity tried to provide support to passive areas. Particular attention is given to the financial and moral support of Croat who lived in the United States and Canada during that action. During the action Gospodarska sloga also took part in the resettlement of children from passive areas to more prosperous regions in northern Croatia.
