Summary/Abstract: The article presents a learner mobility issue in various general education and vocational education institutions. On the basis of the research results on learner intentions about further learning, the 8th and 10th form learners often stay at the same school to continue their learning and only one third intend to further learn in another educational institution. The type of school and town/region where learners currently learn determine the learner choice for further learning and choice of type of school. Learner mobility is also influenced by learner parent educational background and information resources about schools.
