A special category of materials discovered in Gumelniţa settlement from Vitănesti - Măgurice, Teleorman County

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the miniature house models discovered in the Chalcolithic settlement from Vităneşti „Măgurice”, Teleorman County. They are modeled on lids and consist of two main categories, one represented by the house models and another category just suggesting the shape of a house. The models can provide interesting information concerning the constructive details of the Chalcolithic houses, as well as details like the raw materials and the constructive techniques.
