Summary/Abstract: The work describes various types of exclamations: sentences transformed by only one transformation - interjection and sentences transformed at the same time by other transformations - negation, request (structures denoting commands and wishes) and question. Since a description of exclamation features based solely on intonation is insufficient, the attention is drawn to establishing syntactic properties typical only of exclamations.
