Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the most essential and frequent lexico-stilistic means in German and Lithuanian advertisments. On the basis of the authentical material in both languages the following goals have been achieved: the comparison of lexico-stilistic devices, their structure, use and diffusion tendencies, the functional properties and their influence on advertisment text emphatic expressions. The final point covers similarities and differences in both languages.
