First Part of the Proposal Museology for Country Museums and Draft Guidelines for Ethnography in the Museums´ Collections

Summary/Abstract: Following paper deals with the preparation of draft guidelines for museums´ staff in the interwar period. Described is the historical background of the document, presented is the main content and interpreted is the introduction into museum practice in given era. Prepared directive should have helped the employees in country museums to improve the quality of museological documentation in various regions of Czechoslovakia. The author of the document was museologist, historian and ethnologist - Josef František Svoboda.
