Ethical Aspects of Work Seen as a Responsibility For the Common Good

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of a fact that even in the time of a crisis and unem-ployment the value of work can be often depreciated by people, who fail to consider the eschatological aspect of this problem. The author demonstrates the necessity of the value of work as this relates to the common good, and presents moral dimensions of this issue in its ordinary and redemptive aspects. He claims that that only social respect for work can create the environment for success which is both economically and relig-iously considerable.
