Summary/Abstract: Solomon’s Psalms include 18 songs or religious hymns, translated in different versions (Greek, Hebrew, Syrian). This work is attributed to king Solomon and suggests the conquest of Jerusalem by Pompeius in 63 B.C.The characters suggested in the work are not pointed out by their real name, but the author uses various nicknames. The author of the Psalms is unknown, he hides behind a group of people whose piety he tries to express. Even though, these psalms have no precise didactical purpose they approach some doctrine issues which often mingle with the Qumramite ones.
