Summary/Abstract: The author develops some ideas of his previous essay Actual Tasks of Contemporary Slovak Bilingual Lexicography (Aktuálne úlohy súèasnej slovenskej dvojjazyènej lexikografie), Slavica Slovaca, 33, 1998, No. 2, pp. 143.148) emphasising mainly the question of the necessity of the linguistics to react to the contemporary dynamics of vocabulary development in a form of making scientific translation dictionaries corresponding the current needs of a modern communication. Using the particular parts of the Slovak- Russian Law-Economy Dictionary the author figures out the problems and shoals of this kind of dictionaries.
