V. V. ROSANOV AND HIS CONCEPTION OF COMPREHENSION

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with V. V. Rosanov's conception of comprehension and his attempt to study science as complete cognition, to define its borders, to construct a theory of its structure, of its relevance to human nature and to his life. It gives arguments in support to the thesis that all his future works will be based on the conception of comprehension, elaborated upon in the work “Of comprehension” /1886/ (which is of key importance to the development of Rosanov's philosophical thought), but within the framework of problems that are different in their character (religion, sex, family, human life).
