Summary/Abstract: The article presents an interpretation of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz’s poem Pamięci B.L. [In Memory of B.L.] that is being regarded as an example of modern apocrypha. Canonical text that Rymkiewicz refers to in an apocrypha-like manner is Bolesław Leśmian’s poem Topielec. The author of the article recalls the theoretical descriptions of the poetics of apocrypha (Starowieyski, Rubinkiewicz, Naumow, Genette, Balbus, Nycz) and presents typical for the apocrypha complex form of the palimpsest in the poem Pamięci B.L. [In Memory of B.L.]. Rymkiewicz’s poem turns out to be an apocryphic complement, transtextual diffusion as well as forgery. Leśmian’s anthropological and metaphysical ideas are being completed by the Christian belief in resurrection of the body that does not follow his philosophy based on Bergson’s ideas. This mystification is a trace of apocryphic forgery.
