Summary/Abstract: Bruno Schulz was once again in the limelight when the French Publishing House announced the publication of the complete works – short stories and drawings of the Polish writer and artist while the Jewish Art and History Museum in Paris organized and exhibition with his drawings and sketches. The author of the present article points out the main landmarks of Schulz’s life and creation, appealing to quotations from his short stories to illustrate the universe of his work.
