Characteristics of foreign subsidiaries as determinants of its divestment

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present current research on factors affecting foreign divestment at subsidiary-level. These are mainly: financial performance, market entry mode, ownership structure, size, age and international product diversification. In addition to the descriptive results of the analyzes empirical determinants of foreign divestment decision, supported by test of significance are presented.
