The Word służba Seen from a Different Angle – on the Basis of Selected Speeches of John Paul II

Summary/Abstract: The words to {serve, serving, service} (understood as an attitude) rarely appear in the contemporary Polish language. They are referred to by, among others, politicians in their platform speeches. However, its various usages lack concretization which causes fading of the meaning of the term {service}. It functions differently in religious language where in numerous contexts it appears together with values which are to be realized by every human.
