On Methodology of Particle's study – Particle and Thematic-Rhemation Sentences

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the differences in the functioning of the two particles – głównie and przede wszystkim. Having analysed the definitions and contexts of the lexemes the author suggests that these differences should be examined on the basis of the way the particles choose the rhematic part of a sentence. Both of them are used to single out an element from a set of other ones which are similar to a certain extent but which are charecterised by a different degree of intensity of the same feature. However, przede wszystkim additionally substantiates the choice and simultaneously comments on the way of speaking about the world.
