Sources of competitive advantage of agricultural businesses using the agricultural property resources of the state treasury

Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the sources of competitive advantage of agricultural businesses using the Agricultural Property Resources of the State Treasury. The main ones were investments and technological advances related to the implementation of the innovation. Competence of managers were also important while building the competitive advantage. The importance of various sources of competitiveness depended on the size of a farm household. In the group of the largest farms, the most important source of competitiveness was the scale of production. Trends in the general population research confirmed the importance of sources of competitiveness in smaller farms.
