APPLICATION OF THE ACCELERATOR CONCEPT FOR INCREASING EFFICIENCY OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN LITHUANIA

Summary/Abstract: In the article problems of the accelerator application for increasing effectiveness of strategic management in Lithuania are discussed. Recent economic and financial crises show decrease of output and increase of unemployment. Therefore today is very important to set strategic priorities for each country and farm unit. The practice of business evolution shows that economic accelerators, which can be private companies, persons or in some cases different state institutions, largely help to enlarge consumption and safely anchor in different business branches. As an example of successful use of economic accelerator may be Finland: the state enclosed large struggles for implementation of a private company “Nokia”, the further activity of which made good conditions for business development in many high technology enterprises. In order to warrant high activity, the selected economic accelerators must secure conditions for flexibility because contemporary business conditions are very turbulent. In conditions of financial and economic crises the state with its own economic leverage (low interest rate, liberal policy in national taxes system, economic welfare instrumentation, creation work places on the bases structural funds of EU and else.) can make prepare good environment for effective strategic decisions not only in macro but also at the micro level. New challenges for strategic decisions, which are prepared in national economies of different countries, are coherent with globalization processes. Globalization makes conditions for flexible technologies, which are closely related with Internet and other high level information technologies. In those conditions managers of companies adopt decisions of resumption technology independently of the country’s, where company exists, technology level. Thus the companies’ pursuance for technology change lapse from the state’s bureaucrat decisions, which are often related with corruption processes. Today bureaucrats seeking for self expression are also constrained to rise their qualification in technology and marketing, because in other way, the existing or creating of economic accelerates may replace them from market relations as they will be a jam for economic grow of companies separately and for the state in common. In that case necessary sallies in thinking and practice of development national economics for purposes of realization new concept of strategic management, related with economic accelerates. Lithuania with the concept of economic accelerator may become interesting for countries of high technology because our “know how” and science researches, especially in biotechnology laser and oscillator techniques, surprise specialists even of high developed countries.
