Summary/Abstract: Some Issues Regarding the Relation between Morphology and Syntax. When analysing linguistic utterances related to the phenomenon of subordination, many researchers argue about the necessity of dissociating between the relational phenomena (syntactic links) and morphologic markings (conjunctions etc.). Hypotactic or paratactic syntactic relations are not inevitably morphologically marked. This paper studies the implications of the separation between syntax and morphology, particularly the correlatives constructions’ analysis. Some difficulties occur when one intends to get correlatives (presenting a morphological duplication) to coincide with a syntactic relation.
