Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present scientific announcement is to reveal the evolution of one of the most typical bulgarian ornament for arm from the region of North Bulgaria – the brascelets that calls „cubelii“. This ornament is very popular from XVII to the beginning of the XX century. The construction of this ornament is very complex. He has a three basic metal parts, who are connected together with the help of silver solder. Each part has unique shape. The most of the scientists think that the „cubelii“ has direct origin from the medieval bulgarian brascelets. I think that they were first produced in their classical form in XVI or in the beginning of XVII century. The decoration is typical for the Orient. In the beginning of XIX century some new elements from Baroque were inspired.
