Summary/Abstract: Here is a brief examination of the complex relations between the concept of capitalism and its theoretical and practical instances, which leads to contradictions. The strong thesis is that nowadays capitalist acts in a paradoxically manner, showing a strong contradiction between its classic doctrine and the humanism asserted now. In order to observe that we should question the very definition of capitalism, since it is not clear anymore what is the authentic capitalism. In conclusion, we have to eradicate the causes of these contradictions in order to shift form capitalism with human face to humanist capitalism.
