Summary/Abstract: The presented article is constructed as an attempt for sociographic comparative analysis between three countries Bulgaria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands on the perspective of evolvement of the Second demographic transition in them. According to the scheme of indicators featuring the evolvement of the process are explicated the specifics of the SDT in Bulgaria: its leads and lags, its deviations and coincidences with respect to the different indicators for the process evolvement. The sociogarphic analysis outlines the acceleration of the fertility transition in Bulgaria since the end of the socialist period and its indicative coincidences with the theoretical scheme of the evolvement of the ‘classical’ process. The deceleration of the marital transition in the national context in comparison to Czech Republic and the Netherlands is underlined and is explained as owing to the impoverishment, refamilialization and traditional and socialist legacies being kept alive. The chronological scheme of the evolvement of the SDT in Bulgaria is presented as well.
