Summary/Abstract: The researchers who analyse writings of Karol Wojtyła point out that the sense of his poetry is highly related with the poetic space but it also refers to the transcendent reality. Moreover, the name of God appears rarely in his poetry. Not using God's name is a very expressive sign of the mistic character of Wojtyła’s poetry. Few onims and descriptions referring to God in the poetry and dramas written by Karol Wojtyła are a concious sign derived from the religious concepti of the reality with the constant presence of God. Wojtyła uses different names of God, especially onims and descriptions taken form the Bible and the Polish cultural and poetic tradition. However, the poet is still searching for the new interpretation of these names. Karol Wojtyła tries to find out the Other name and puts into his poetry and dramas the colloquial teonim one-word descriptions that the poet tries to define, and also complex descriptions with the onomastic character and descriptions of the onomastic and appellative character. The complex and sophisticated nomination appearing in the poetry and dramas of K. Wojtyła is the effect of trying to define and name “Name-less God". Names used by Wojtyła have very rich meanings and differ from names that only indicate an object.
