Summary/Abstract: The Baptismal Mission as Spiritual Adoption and Foundation of the Christian Identity. Baptism is a issionary sacrament par excellence. Within this sacrament, a person publicly confesses his/her decision of becoming a Christian and his/her adhesion to the Church’s doctrine and spirituality. It is the visible proof of being the disciple and brother of Christ, the child adopted by the Heavenly Father and the new born hallowed by the Holy Spirit. This communion is lived both eschatological and social.
