Summary/Abstract: The article introduces a surprise love story revealed in a book ("Love Letters") which contains the correspondence between Leonard Wolf (the famous writer Virginia Wolf's husband) and Marjorie Parsons, known as Trekkie (wife of Chatto and Windus Publishing House's manager Ian Parsons). This relationship was brought into public's attention by a trial sued to Marjorie Parsons by L.Wolf's inheritors. The trial was won by Trekkie and the love letters published by the Chatto and Windus, however there are questions to be answered on this odd love affair which lasted over 27 years: the love the two shared seemed to have been a quiet gentle one instead a passionate romance.
