Summary/Abstract: All organizations, independent of the sector they belong to or the line of work they do, are not immune to situations of crisis. Communication in times of crisis is one of the most dynamic relationships to the public which demands timely application of specific communication and managerial skills. Practical experience points that the event causing the crisis will strengthen the image and credibility of an organization if the team responds swiftly and relays the facts and their version of the story to the media, investors, stake-holders and the general public.
