Summary/Abstract: Evaluating employee performance is a significant step towards building an appropriate strategy of human resources management. It represents the process of constant, systematic and formalized monitoring, evaluating and influencing individual performance. Evaluating employee performance encompasses evaluating their professional skills for a specific job position, their professional experience, training and the evaluation of personal performance and interests. The process is conducted cyclically in pre-defined periods, and it includes giving feedback. Established performances for a certain job position have to be subject to constant re-evaluation, as the procedures of evaluation themselves.
