Summary/Abstract: The crisis in Ukraine will have major implications beyond Ukraine. It will take time before we certainly have a predictable outcome on ending the crisis. Will Ukraine stay as an independent a dependent state? Russia by annexing Crimea (March 2014), a serious act of violation of the exigencies of the current international order, be able to overcome its current state of regional power and pretend global changes? Here are some questions that will have to be answered by Europe and the United States, that have undoubtely entered, in a challenging and conflicting era.
