Summary/Abstract: In a society that is changing rapidly, people have to adjust to the new demands so that they will be able to function on the labor market. The advances in computer technology and the wide-spread use of the Internet have opened new perspectives towards learning. Social media has marked the change from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 where people become active participants and creators of content. Web 2.0 has had a positive impact on lifelong learning as it gave people the possibility to cooperate, exchange knowledge, publish, and share information.
