Summary/Abstract: The article seeks to deconstruct the discourses employed in the debate around the division of powers in the state in order to explain the common identity of Romanian Parliament. Moreover, by examining the way in which the shared views about the legislative power in Romania have been constructed, I will identify the underlying purpose of this debate and predict its outcome.
