Designing jobs in social work organizations and institutions

Summary/Abstract: This article emphasizes the importance and principles of jobs design in human resource management within social work organizations and institutions. The objective and subjective characteristics of jobs design are presented and also the main job designing and redesigning strategies together with their consequences for the employee, work group and the organizations as a whole. A special attention is focused on the relationship between the jobs design, motivation and work satisfaction of the employees, especially of social workers.
