Summary/Abstract: Love Theme is shaped into various forms in the two authors, from passionate love (Eros) to love of the one nearby (phyla) or love of God (agape). Love stories are inspired by the reality, by life itself, love being spontaneous, unpredictable, inconsistent, but authors may submit it to moral scale, in plainer words, they treat it compared to Christian moral demands. Even though the characters express freely in relation to love, for which they are able to sacrifice everything, their freedom cannot ignore the moral perspective. When love degenerates into lust, it becomes sexual guilt and sin consciousness follows them everywhere. It happens with Svidrigailov, Mitea Karamazov or Nastasia Filipovna and, on the other hand, Tolstoy Pozdnsev, Nehliudov or Anna Karenina.
