Summary/Abstract: Concepts of values, moral and morality are gaining relevance in the contemporary global society. Therefore, moral education of a personality has received a particular attention in pre-school education and has become the core and the main goal of education. Child’s moral constructs viewed in the context of his / her holistic moral experience, strengthened by emotional experiences and reinforced by moral experience, stimulate children’s moral behaviour and bridge the gap between the unity of thought and behaviour and word and action. The aim of the study is to investigate peculiarities of four-six year old children’s moral constructs and experiences following them. The data of the interviews with children allowed for identification of children moral constructs of themselves, their family members, peers, pets as well as experiences accompanying these constructs. The sampling of the research included 420 four-six year old children from different pre-school education institutions in Lithuanian towns and districts. The article presents the results of the research in peculiarities of pre-school children’s moral constructs and experiences accompanying them. The analysis and interpretation of the results are based on the researches conducted by a big number educators and psychologists. The research data revealed that moral constructs of children are unformed, unstable, well-founded morally but weakly substantiated or not substantiated depending on the linking of the experiences accompanying these constructs to own moral values or those of others.
