ACTIVITIES FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF OIL PRODUCTS THEFT FROM MAIN TRANSPORT PIPES

Summary/Abstract: The statistics when talking about stealing petroleum products from the transportation pipelines have known an alarming increase since 1996 up until 2002. By this period, criminal groups, more or less organized, and also solitary individuals (using crafted, simple or complex installations, committed petroleum products theft, causing important damage to the two main transport operators, that are activating in on Romanian soil and have a great contribution to our national economy.
