Summary/Abstract: There are investigated the ontological, epistemological and axiological features of fore-sight «Education 2030». Methodology of the research is based on the semantic and contextual analysis of materials speeches and presentations by the authors of this project – Director Desti-nations «Young Professionals» Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects D. Peskov and director of educational programs at the Department of Corporate Education Mos-cow School of Management Skolkovo. Argues that education is a market service, and education market by its own laws does not differ from other markets. Thus, market fundamentalism promoted educational rationale for the transition from an industrial (state) education to postindustrial education (liberal-market). Foresight "Education 2030" is positioned as a global project in the first place, online dis-tance learning, in which a high probability of loss of "educational sovereignty of Russia". It is concluded that the logical structure of this foresight and its rationale are typical features of "cargo – a cult".
