Summary/Abstract: After the texts of the Tarnovo Constitution in its part describing the mechanism the deputies will be elected were approved, the Constituent assembly faced a new dilemma – what legal norm should be applied for the election of the future Ordinary parliament, which was fixed for 30 of September 1979. The approved system for election was entirely majority one. The author traces back the peculiarities in its application; the forming of the constituencies; the way of nominating of candidates; the definition of the rate between the mandates and the number of the voters; the legal rights of the voters; the technology of the electoral process; the violations made, which in many cases lead to illegal electoral results.
