Summary/Abstract: The article presents relations between social policy and the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in the context of transformations of welfare state and the search for alternative and/or supplementary solutions within the currently implemented social policy. The author suggests the thesis that the common elements which connect social policy and CSR are – on the one hand, the social responsibility of various institutional stakeholders, and on the other, the multisectoral nature of social policy which depends on the state's search for associates from other sectors (including the business one) to realise the objectives of social policy. The topic of the article has been inspired by the new paradigm – of the e-conomisation of social policy within which the role and significance of socially responsible enterprises will most probably increase in the future.
