Summary/Abstract: Globalization results, inter alia, in the establishment of transnational principles and, thus, enterprises around the world engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and implement CSR standards. It happens because they are pressured by many different actors. The aim of this paper is to present the CSR concept and the main international CSR standards, as well as to present the author’s theoretical conceptual model of their diffusion among companies with Polish equity, initiated by the companies with foreign equity functioning in Poland. The classification system of Ingram and Clay, as the institutional framework, was adopted for the purpose of the paper. It also provides empirical data concerning their implementation in Poland.
