The State Fund For Disabled Persons Rehabilitation as an institution granting state aid

Summary/Abstract: State aid can be granted by many different institutions. In Poland one of the major institutions which grants state aid is The State Fund For Disabled Persons Rehabilitation. It grants mainly support in the form of reimbursement for employers employing disabled persons. The aid for employing disabled persons belongs to horizontal categories of aid, so it should be preferred by its granting. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the support granted in 2005-2009. The article also presents a statistical picture of the beneficiary’s support and identifies future directions of PFRON functioning as a grantor of the state aid.
