Summary/Abstract: The report deals with paratextual equipment of the books concerning a fictive literary character of Jára (da) Cimrman. The extent to which the mystifying game is present in mentioned acts of publication can vary and depends on publisher´s strategy – from the concept of a book as an object fully occupied by the mystifying game through „mere“ use of basic functions of secondary texts in paratext communication strategy to combining both these approaches.
