Summary/Abstract: Without pretending to be an exhaustive study, the article analyzes some basic visions about Socrates in the Bulgarian philosophy: the refined and exquisite interpretation of Dr. K. Krustev, that of Prof. I. Georgov introducing the personality and work of Socrates in our academic science, the monographic study of Prof. I. Saruiliev, the ideological lampoon of Acad. S. Ganоvski, the “exonerating” study of Prof. R. Radev, the eclectic essay of T. Kissyov. The author also refers to articles which add to the philosophical image of Socrates through original interpretations of individual aspects of his presence in European philosophy.
