Summary/Abstract: In Transilvania, in the context of the transition and of the adhesion process to the European Union, the transition to the youth period occur latter, in the second half of the 90`s. The social effect of this transition is in a process of shaping a new, young middle class, but the process continues also in 2005-2006. In the same time with the transition to the youth period, we can observe meaningful tendency in the process of reinforcement of the middle class. The social status of the parents of young people that have young habits specific to the middle class and the high middle class can be considered of middle class and high middle class varying with the schooling and occupation, according to the Zinnecker `s theory.
