Public health training development: the case of Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The increasing awareness of the important role of pubic health in medical science and health care since the 1990s has been associated with the growing development of public health teaching programs in our country. The number of public health teachers also increased substantially. The creation of a new policy in the field of public health and health management is officially a task of priority in the strategic development of the Bulgarian health system.
