Creation of statistic and administrative forms for archival activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: In order to improve the methodology of professional work in the archival profession and the activities extremely important is analysis and synthesis that would assist in identifying the principles, laws, and various activities that would apply in the archival profession, activity, and archival institutions. There is no doubt that the production of administrative, financial and statistical returns for archival activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a great need and necessity. In order to identify shortcomings and difficulties in the work process and to fix it in order to improve and better performance is necessary to develop cost effective analytical and statistical forms and questionnaires for archival services/facilities, i.e., archival activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Development of an archival service and complete archival activities, and forms (questionnaires) should follow this development. This means that in addition to the ongoing needs of its analytical and statistical analysis of archival work process, or workflow records service, we need to constantly adjust and improve the administrative, financial and statistical forms and questionnaires for archival activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Three forms for reporting (related to the archives) have been prepared: statistical, administrative and financial. They are made in imitation of some standard forms used by some cultural areas, and archival services in Europe. Surely they must be processed and adapted to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, archival activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the terminology used in archival institutions. These forms will be of immense use to the archival service of Bosnia and Herzegovina, line ministries and all other interested parties to show parameters that will make future plans and strategies for further action.
