Summary/Abstract: Economy of the twenty-first century is an economy of movement. Movement of capital, people, technology, knowledge, information, and everything which is based on the development in the twenty-first century. The better the conditions for the movement are and the less the resistance to movement is, an economy is more developed. The basic requirement for rapid movement is the existence of an adequate infrastructure. In the case of the Pester plateau it is the traffic or the so-called hard infrastructure. Whether it is a highway, river and sea port or airports or fast railways, from their coverage depends the future and development of a region. These are constants which have already been confirmed many times before.
