Summary/Abstract: The present article is the first part of a series of published documents, containing the land property conscriptions in 1785 on the Bandău Valley (the Bandău is an affluent river of the Someş, in the Transylvanian Plain). The conscriptions furnish data about the economic situation (incomes and damages) and the obligation of the serves and poor free peasants towards the landowners. We follow a geographical order, and, in the present study, we publish the conscription of the Nireş Village, edited in the Hungarian language. The originals of all these conscriptions are kept at the National Hungarian Archives (Magyar Országos Levéltár), Budapest, the F51 fund.
