The Feminisms from Eastern Europe. Between Memory and Forgetting

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the French and Belgian gender studies in order to discover if the feminism in Eastern European countries is a topic of the historical discourse. The paper stresses the importance of published books during 2003-2005 in France and Belgium, centred on the history of international feminism. The conclusion is that the gender studies in the francophone West did not integrate Eastern countries in their approach.
