Social insurance and women’s question in the capital at the turn of the 20th century.

Summary/Abstract: The author analyses the legislative base of women’s labour in Russia at the turn of the 20th century. Women working in the factories and plants of the capital were the most numerous but low-payed category of the working people, their rights very often were infringed by the employers. Neither of the laws did not regulate such issues as old-age, disability and unemployment insurance
