Summary/Abstract: The present research is dedicated to the Bulgarians from Banat region in Romania. It traces the history of the Bulgarian community in this region, which has lived under the power of three different administrations. The author has also scrutinized on the following aspects: the school’s influence, the processes of education, the role of the Catholic Church, and the participation of the Bulgarians from the Banat region in the political and cultural life in Romania
