Summary/Abstract: Applied folklore is to interpret traditional outcomes, oral literature arising from the need for communication, or societal expressions according to conditions of the times. Such interpretations are practices that keep up with the time, expand the functional fields of folklore, and enable persistence in the production and transmission of culture. The owners of Bodrum Orta Çağ Grocery put a series of knickknacks on market by the name Le Kabbak. In the series, such properties as lighting fixture from gourd and evil eye charm. Oral culture has been used in marketing the properties, which has been a good example of applied folklore.
