Summary/Abstract: In the era of rapidly progressing technological development, the role of leaders is becoming increasingly crucial for the success of organizations. Required competencies, such as emotional intelligence, creativity, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities, are gaining greater importance. This study focuses on the analysis of the influence of cognitivism and connectivism on the role of a leader and the examination of psychological predictors of success, such as emotional intelligence, personality, creativity, motivation, interpersonal skills, and analytical abilities. Modern organizations should invest in the development of these skills to improve leadership effectiveness at both the individual and team levels. As technology evolves, leaders must also develop their competencies to meet the challenges of the future. Knowledge on this subject can help in the future in identifying leaders who will be capable of successfully guiding organizations through periods of dynamic change while maintaining a sense of community and employee engagement.
